PyLadies is an international mentorship group dedicated to helping more women become active participants and leaders in the Python open-source community. PyLadies Seoul is the Seoul chapter, building a network where women developers can grow together.

📚 PyLadies Book Club We meet online on the first Wednesday evening of every month to read and discuss a selected book. We cover a wide range of topics—technology, career, and work-life balance—sharing insights and enjoying networking time together.

📖 February Book: Incantations on the Commute (출근길의 주문) Subtitle: Practical strategies for women to protect themselves and work with confidence on an uneven playing field.
This month, we selected a book that discusses how to stand firm and protect yourself while working in a world that often feels like a "tilted playing field" for women. Instead of vague anxiety, the author equips us with the weapons of speaking, writing, and networking, offering the courage to work more solidly.

📖 About the Book
Lee Da-hye is an author who never stops speaking and writing about women's rights and lives. Written specifically for working women, Incantations on the Commute is filled with the insightful commentary and empathetic prose she has shown through her books and broadcasts. For women who worry about "how long I can keep working," who have tried hard not to be pushed aside in male-dominated networks, and who work diligently but still carry vague anxieties—this book places the precise tools of "speech, writing, and networking" in your hands and awakens your fighting spirit. Armed with concrete methods you can put into practice immediately, this book will make your commute tomorrow feel more confident. (Source: Kyobo Book Centre)
